I have been using Slackware for almost 6 years now. I am a biologist by profession and passionate about using open source software. I am not a programmer by any definition, but would like to learn coding in near future. For now, I am trying to learn how to write SlackBuild script. My first script will be for a DNA sequence Chromatogram viewer called FinchTV.

Actually FinchTV happened to be a binary distribution, so I halted efforts to writing a SlackBuild for it.
