Adobe Flashplayer

Getting Adobe Flashplayer To Work

X86_64 Systems (specifically Slamd64 12.1)
As root:

1) Create /usr/lib/mozilla and /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directories

2) Download the Linux X86 (32bit) .tar.gz file from Adobe.

3) Extract the libflashplayer.so file and place it in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directory.

4) Run nspluginwrapper -i /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so and watch for errors.

a) No error = everything should work.

b) Error = You probably have a corrupted libflashplayer.so, go re-download it and try again.

NOTE: The above is known to work with a Slamd64 12.1 base install and Flashplayer 9.
